Privacy Policy

Effective August 4, 2026

This policy is provided as a starting point and is not legal advice. Please have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it for your business.

PrestonAI Solutions (“PrestonAI,” “we,” “us”) provides an AI chat assistant that contractors add to their websites to answer visitors and qualify leads. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at lpreston2254@gmail.com.

Information we collect

From website visitors. When you chat with an assistant we operate on a contractor’s website, or submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, phone number, email address, service address or ZIP, and details about the project or request you describe.

Automatically. Our servers receive standard technical data such as your IP address and basic request information, used to operate the service securely and prevent abuse.

From contractor clients. If you use PrestonAI to run an assistant for your business, we store your business profile, settings, availability, and login email.

How we use information

  • To run the chat, understand your request, and qualify the lead.
  • To deliver the lead to the contractor whose website you contacted, by email or text, and to schedule an appointment if you request one.
  • To respond to inquiries you send us.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

How we share information

  • With the contractor you contacted. The whole point of the assistant is to hand your request to that business so they can follow up. Once shared, their own privacy practices apply to how they use it.
  • With service providers who help us run the product, under agreements that limit their use of the data — including our AI provider (Anthropic), email delivery (Resend), text messaging (Twilio), hosting (Vercel), and our database (Neon).
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

Google Calendar integration

If a contractor connects their Google Calendar to schedule appointments, we request only the access needed to read their availability and create appointment events. PrestonAI’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Calendar data solely to provide the scheduling feature, do not use it for advertising, and do not sell it or share it except as needed to provide the service or as required by law. A contractor can disconnect their calendar at any time.

Data retention

We keep lead and account information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may ask us to delete information associated with you, and we will do so where we are not required to keep it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and hashed login and session tokens. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can decline to provide information (though some features may not work without it), and you can contact us at lpreston2254@gmail.com to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.

Children

The service is intended for adults arranging home or business services and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
